It’s accurate and sensor is water proof I try it by dip it in to water

My first time using ultrasonic. It works OK, my disappointment is mostly the range was limited from about 8 inches to 9 foot, at 10 foot it would change from reading 10 to 19 foot every other reading( I was out of range) . I was expecting 14.5 foot range from the specs. At less than 9 foot it worked well, about 2 inches error from the calculations, but the error was fairly consistent and I was about to put a 2 inch correction in the program. This was room temperature only. The range and accuracy depend on having a single large clear target, I used a large plate glass window to test with. Smaller targets and irregular targets cause errors (but I would expect that).

Easy to integrate with particle photon. I’m using it to monitor the water level in a catchment tank. Cheap way to measure distances for some applications

  4. Vignesh Ramakrishnan

This product was really easy to interface with. Although, it is not quite as accurate as I was hoping for. I can still get the general idea though about how for things are.

  5. TK

Works good using 3.3v ESP32 with board programmed with Arduino IDE. Values are reliable past 10cm.
