What is OLED?
OLED (Organic Light-Emitting Diode) is a self light-emitting technology composed of a thin, multi-layered organic film placed between an anode and cathode. In contrast to LCD technology, OLED does not require a backlight. OLED possesses high application potential for virtually all types of displays and is regarded as the ultimate technology for the next generation of flat-panel displays.
How Does OLED Emit Light?
OLEDs basic structure consists of organic materials positioned between the cathode and the anode, which is composed of electric conductive transparent Indium Tin Oxide (ITO). The organic materials compose a multi-layered thin film, which includes the Hole Transporting Layer (HTL), Emission Layer (EML) and the Electron Transporting Layer (ETL). By applying the appropriate electric voltage, holes and electrons are injected into the EML from the anode and the cathode, respectively. The holes and electrons combine inside the EML to form excitons, after which electroluminescence occurs. The transfer material, emission layer material and choice of electrode are the key factors that determine the quality of OLED components.

Button
1. The backlight control
By short press the button to turn on or off the backlight, the backlight status automatic storage.
2. The power cleared
Step 1: Press the power button 5 seconds until the digital display window flashes, then release the button;
Step 2: If you press the button again, the consumption data is cleared and cleared quit flashing;
Step 3: If you press the button again 5 seconds long until no flashing, the charge data is not cleared and exit cleared.
3. The power to set the alarm value
Step 1: Press the button, when the LCD screen display “SET CLr” after the release button, set the value into the power status report;
Step 2: Power area displays the current value of the power alarm and the lowest digit starts blinking, then you can press the button of the digital +1, when there is no key operation more than three seconds, automatically switches by short digital set as above;
Step 3: After setting, press the button more than five seconds to automatically save and exit, the scope of active power threshold set for the 0.0 ~ 4.5kW.

]]>MAX7219 Digital Tube Display Module
MAX7219 is a kind of integrated serial input/output common cathode display driver, it connects microprocessor and 8 digit 7 period of digital LED display, also can be connected to the bar graph display or 64 independent LED. It includes a piece of type B BCD coder, multiple scanning circuit, period of word drive, but also an 8 * 8 static RAM used to store every data. Only an external register used to set each LED segment current.
A convenient four wire serial interface can connection all general microprocessor. Each data can be addressed in the update don’t need rewriting all the display. MAX7219 also allows the user to each data selection coding or not to code.
The whole equipment includes A 150 μ A low power consumption closed mode, analog and digital brightness control, A scanning limit register allows users to display 1-8 bits of data, and A let all LED luminous detection model.
Only need three IO mouth can drive eight digital tube! Digital tube display when flicker free! Support cascade!
